The Team

Outbound Owner & RN

Brooke Baldwin was born and raised in the Heart of the Columbia Gorge in Hood River, OR. She has been an Emergency Nurse and an advocate of Wilderness Medicine for years. You can find her embracing concierge nursing by offering aesthetic procedures, IV infusion therapy, and wilderness medical skills to clients in the privacy of their own homes, Wellness clinics, or the side of mountains. Her goal is to create a new health & wellness lifestyle by providing safer outdoor adventures, keeping the body properly hydrated, and looking your best without stepping foot into a medical facility. 

On her days off, she will be outside enjoying a skiing or diving adventure, world traveling, mountaineering, riding motorcycles, on a medical mission, or relaxing with family and friends.   

Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner

Debra Short MSN, FNP-BC is dedicated to providing quality Cosmetic Medical and Facial Aesthetics to the greater Columbia Gorge and surrounding regions of Washington and Oregon. Debra holds a Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) and is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC). She works as an independent Medical Practitioner and Aesthetics Provider and is sole owner and provider for White Salmon Family Practice. She has served as a cardiac and critical care nurse, as well as Director for the Cardiac and Catheterization Laboratory for Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital in Salinas, California, for 30 years. She is licensed to practice medicine and medical aesthetics in Washington, Oregon and California and has been providing family medicine services, medical aesthetics and cosmetic medical in Washington and California since 2011.

Acupuncturist

Rachel Gilman is an Oregon native with a passion for people and the human experience. Her goal is to meet patients where they’re at and create a comfortable space for healing. Over the past ten years she’s worked with patients of all ages and loves being able to tailor each treatment to the individual. Her approach is simple and to the point, making sure her patients leave feeling better than when they arrived. 

When she’s not at Outbound, you can find her in the kitchen whipping up delicious meals, listening to her music way too loud, or soaking up quality time with loved ones. 

Massage Therapist

Natalie Rudinski is a native of Oregon, and she has spent the last 8 years making the Columbia Gorge her home with her best friend turned husband, Jeff. She has been working as a flight attendant for over 10 years and has actively pursued ways to take care of her body due to the demands of travel and irregular schedules. This led her to discover a passion for massage therapy, and she has been a licensed massage therapist for 2 years. Natalie is dedicated to providing deep relaxation massages while also addressing tension areas in the body. She enjoys the opportunity to continue learning and expanding her knowledge of the human body. She firmly believes in the overall benefits of massage for one's wellness journey. Natalie's favorite activities include snowboarding, practicing hot yoga,  eating sushi, planning future travel adventures, immersing herself in nature, and spending time with family, friends, and Oliver; adventure chihuahua.

Esthetician

Ellieana Bounds is passionate about helping people feel comfortable and confident in their skin. She specializes in sensitive skin & acne. Struggling with these skin concerns herself is what sparked her passion for wanting to help others navigate their journey to happy & healthy skin. With 2 years of experience in performing facial treatments, she’s really honed in on what products & services will help your skin. Her eagerness to learn & consistently expand her knowledge has aided her in bringing you the newest skincare technology/treatments to her clients. 

When she isn’t working, Ellieana can be found traveling or finding new & fun activities to do with friends & family. Being the 6th generation born and raised in the valley, she loves to travel out of town to discover exciting new places. The coast is her home away from home. Some of her other hobbies include going to the gym, reading, crocheting, dancing, cooking/baking, and spending time outdoors.

Hair Stylist

Kalyn Benaroya specializes in natural texture hair cutting, personalized styling and lived in color. Her ability to read the texture of your hair and understanding of your lifestyle, makes her styles and colors suitable as well as long lasting.

When she is not in the salon she is running Dirtastic, riding her dirt bike & mountain bike, playing with her pup Twiggy, winging, surfing and traveling to warm destinations.

TMS Managing Coordinator

Tamara Green is a compassionate and dedicated Medical Assistant with a deep passion for mental health. For the past two years, she has had the privilege of serving as a TMS Coordinator, where she has witnessed firsthand the life-changing impact of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation on individuals struggling with depression and anxiety. Helping people reclaim their joy and well-being has been an incredibly rewarding experience, reinforcing her commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.

Outside of her professional life, Tamara cherishes spending quality time with her family and her beloved dogs. She enjoys exploring new places, whether traveling to exciting destinations, gliding across calm waters in her kayak, or embracing the thrill of motorcycle adventures with her husband. For Tamara, life is about meaningful connections, new experiences, and embracing every journey with an open heart.

Office Manager

Alejandra Sanchez, born and raised in Hood River, is an experienced office manager with two years of expertise in ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently. Her passion for organization and attention to detail have been instrumental in creating a productive work environment that supports her team and enhances overall performance.

In her downtime, she finds joy in tending to her chickens and enjoying the tranquility of local lakes. She believes that a balanced life encourages creativity, and she strives to bring that same sense of harmony into her role as an office manager.

Medical Director/Owner

Dr. Benjamin Rader, DO, is a compassionate and experienced physician dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal health, mobility, and overall well-being. An Oregon native with a deep appreciation for the Pacific Northwest, he began his journey at Oregon State University before earning his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Kirksville College in Missouri. His passion for hands-on healing led him to complete his residency in Emergency Medicine at SUNY Buffalo, where he honed his skills in high-pressure environments. Since 2014, he has been making a difference in the lives of his patients, combining expertise with a down-to-earth, patient-centered approach.

Beyond emergency medicine, Dr. Rader has a strong passion for Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, a skill he has cultivated since medical school. He takes pride in helping patients overcome acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, restoring movement, reducing pain, and improving long-term function to live life fully.

Outside of his practice, Dr. Rader embraces the beauty of the outdoors. Whether fly fishing in a quiet river, playing a round of disc golf, or exploring nature with his family, he finds joy in the simple moments that keep him grounded and connected to the world around him.

Osteopathic Manipulative Therapist

Joshua Colley, PA-C is a dedicated healthcare professional passionate about holistic and hands-on healing. Josh, an Oregon native, spent much of his childhood in Maine before pursuing higher education. He earned his undergraduate degree from Arizona State University, where he developed a strong foundation in the sciences and patient care. He then completed his Physician Assistant training at Midwestern University, where he was first introduced to Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. This field sparked his deep interest in hands-on, integrative healing techniques.

Josh has since honed his skills in manual medicine, working alongside Dr. Rader and other esteemed Osteopathic Physicians to refine his approach to patient care. He is committed to helping individuals achieve optimal wellness through personalized, evidence-based treatments.

Outside of his professional life, Josh enjoys immersing himself in the art of cooking, exploring the world of specialty coffee, and expressing his creativity through music—both as a listener and a musician. His well-rounded approach to life and medicine reflects his dedication to balance, well-being, and continuous learning.
